It looks like actress Vanessa Hudgens won’t have to wait quite as long as she expected for her new movie to come out.

After being pushed back from the original 2010 release date, “Beastly”, a film based on the novel by Alex Flinn, was set to release on March 18, 2011.

However, CBS Films recently announced that the movie would be coming out two weeks earlier, on March 4, throughout the country.

The film stars Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer, in a story line that is a modern-day version of “Beauty and the Beast”. Pettyfer plays Kyle Kingson, who is cursed with a physical deformity after he treats a girl badly.

He is told that he must find someone to love him for himself within a year, or he will stay that way forever. He soon meets Lindy, played by Hudgens, a girl that he never paid attention to before, who begins to fall in love with him.

The two young actors will go up against “The Adjustment Bureau”, “Apollo 18”, “Rango”, and “Take Me Home Tonight”, all of which will be released on the same weekend.
