As many actors do, she got her start acting in advertisements and on stage plays. Her first notable TV role was a role in the BBC drama “Hope and Glory” and also starred Lenny Henry.

In 2001, she received the role Maddie Giks, and that is where she first came into the eye of the mass public. She also filmed “Popcorn” with Jodi Alpert and Jack Ryder, which was a movie that saw a fair amount of success.

She has worked in a number of different roles throughout her career, but is most known for playing a bully.
