Iron Man 3 Movie Release Date: May 2013 – Those of you who have been following the Iron Man movies are in for a real treat, because the release date for Iron Man 3 has been released, and the movie is reportedly going to be distributed by Disney. Unfortunately, there is of course going to be a very long wait for the release of Iron Man 3. It will not be released in United States theatres until May of two thousand and thirteen.
Disney have just acquired the rights to the third Iron Man instalment from Paramount, which is why a release date has now been revealed. They have also purchased the rights to distribute another movie which again, comes from Marvel comics, The Avengers. Reports say that Paramount will still receive a large amount of distribution fees from both movies.
The deal that has been drawn up between Disney and Paramount is said to be beneficial to both Disney and Paramount as companies. Reportedly, Paramount views the deal as an opportunity to not have to work on Iron Man 3, or The Avengers, but still be able to profit from the movies. That’s show business for you. Although Paramount has sold the distribution rights for two movies to Disney, they still own the rights to other Marvel comic movies. So there you have it, a release date for one of the most highly anticipated movies to be released in a very long time.
